The Brooklyn Museum presents the much discussed survey of Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. The survey, which originated in the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, is sometimes serene and contemplative, and other times jarring and disturbing. Regardless, the show demonstrates that the inextricable link between politics and the day-to-day existence of both the artist himself and the Chinese people are each impossible to ignore. The show runs through August 10th.
