Luhring Augustine's unitary space in Bushwick provides the perfect context for a series of ostensibly unrelated works by Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, who was one of the key players in the important Arte Povera movement. While many will be familiar with Pistoletto's mirror paintings, in which the viewer becomes, willing or unwilling, a direct participant in the work, this exhibition showcases the uniqueness and inventiveness of mostly sculptural work that demonstrates Pistoletto's broader range and spirit. The exhibition runs through May 11.
